I write about the future. Not as prediction, but as philosophy.
ÆSTERO exists because I believe the most important question of our time isn’t political, economic, or social. It’s cosmic: what do we become, and where do we go from here?
We are the first generation to seriously contemplate leaving this planet. The first to build minds that think alongside us. The first to hold in our hands both the fragility of everything and the tools to transcend it. That deserves more than anxiety. It deserves wonder.
Each post here is an attempt to think clearly about the long arc — the megastructures and the philosophy behind them, the worlds we might inhabit and the longing that fills them, artificial minds and what they mean for the human soul. Science filtered through existentialism. The far future, made felt.
I am not interested in dystopia. There is enough of that. I am interested in what happens if we get it right.
